Nintendo Switch Review!

Nintendo has been in the gaming industry for quite a while, it first introduced the NES Classic which had some very wonderful games. But this review isn't about that but about the new gaming console that was launched by NINTENDO on 3rd March 2017.

It is a hybrid console meaning it can be used on a normal gaming console like a PS4 or an Xbox One, but the interesting part is that it can also be used as a regular handheld console like a PS Vita. I have had enough time to write this review.

Nintendo Switch as I have already mentioned is a hybrid gaming console with some amazing titles like Zelda-Breath of the wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Arms, etc and some more games are coming to the Switch later this year. But still, that doesn't make it perfect it has its pros and cons.

So let's discuss it,

First let's start with the pros of the console:

1. The Switch feels comfortable in the hand and it is not difficult to get used to it.

2. The screen is made out of plastic. Thus, if you have kids and even if they drop it, the screen would be safe.

3. The Game Cartridges are very small and if you think that your kid might swallow it as he is small there is no need to worry as Nintendo has added a very bitter flavor to their cartridges.

4. The game collection for the switch is also wonderful right now and the games announced at E3 2017 also created a lot of Hype.

5. The normal resolution of the screen on the switch is 720P and when hooked up with the T.V. it's resolution bumps up to 1080P. Now let's talk about its cons:

1. The battery life of the switch is pretty crappy. Nintendo claims it to last for about 2.5hrs to 6.5hrs depending upon the game you are playing.

2. All the accessories for the switch are very expensive even the games.

3. If you have a Bluetooth gaming headset you cannot connect it to the console.

4. A screen guard is a must for the switch as if you put it inside the dock regularly you might end up having a scratched-up screen as there is special coverage in the dock to protect it.

5. You cannot charge your switch while it is on its kickstand.

But no matter what I say it is what it is i.e. a wonderful gaming console so that you can play games whenever and wherever you want.
